Star auctions off tickets for sold out Tut's show in aid of earthquake victims
Paisley star Paolo Nutini is auctioning off tickets to his exclusive King Tut’s show in aid of Haiti.
The show sold out in a matter of minutes but Paolo is urging fans who missed out to dig deep and bid on one of three pairs of tickets that are up for grabs on his website.
Paolo said: “I wanted to help in whatever way possible and had the idea of giving up my guest-list spaces to offer as an auction to the show. I look forward to seeing how much my dedicated fans can raise for such an important appeal.”
Winners of the tickets will also be treated to a meet-and-greet with their hero, access to the after show party and a car to collect them from Glasgow Airport, a local train station or a local hotel or residence.
The auction will run for one week only from February 1-8. All proceeds will be donated to the DEC Haiti Earthquake Appeal.
Paolo’s special one-off show on February 17 is being held to celebrate the 20th birthday of King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut.
Other artists lined up for the month-long series of celebratory shows include Manic Street Preachers, Brett Anderson and Enter Shikari.
