Obama Scots favourite drinking buddy

US President tops fantasy pub poll
Barack Obama may be struggling with the American electorate, but he’s still the person Scots would most like to have a pint with.

The US president topped a poll of fantasy pub companions, pushing Angelina Jolie into second place. Geordie sweetheart Cheryl Cole also rated highly, more so than X-Factor colleague Danni Minogue.

And in another Gallagher brothers battle, Liam received 2.4% of the vote, showing he was a more popular choice than brother Noel who gained just 1.7%.

The survey also revealed what Scots think the most important qualities are in someone when having a conversation in the pub. Someone who can make them laugh topped the poll – closely following closely by someone who buys a round of drinks.
