We SAW dead people

Guests have been seriously spooked by the £14m SAW ride at Thorpe Amusement Park in Surrey.
An exorcist has been called in to get rid of the ghostly goings on at one of Britain’s most popular theme parks, over fears one of its rides is haunted.

Guests have been seriously spooked by  the £14m SAW ride at Thorpe Amusement Park in Surrey. Lights and special effects have started up after being switched off, footsteps and doors have been heard banging when nobody was there and, on walking into the ride building, some guests have felt an extreme drop in temperature.

Although this all sounds like a Hallowe’en publicity stunt, six workers have been suspended over claims they held a late-night Ouija board session at the ride on October 12.

Paranormal investigator Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe (pictured) was summoned and he believes he has found the source of the problems. He says a farmer who lived on the site many years ago has returned. “He may wonder what a great tangle of metal is doing where he once had a barn with a few chickens in it,” Fanthorpe told The Big Issue in Scotland.

“I don’t think there is anything evil or dangerous there,” he added. “It would be a question of saying, almost in a polite way, ‘You enjoyed your life now just pop off and let them enjoy theirs’.”
