Homeless World Cup team defeated ahead of senior squad qualifier
Just days before Scotland take on the Netherlands in a crucial qualifier at Hampden, the country's Homeless World Cup team have lost to the Dutch on penalties.
The life-changing four-a-side tournament got under way this week in Milan, with hopes high for Scotland, the 2007 champions. But the team - made up of players from street soccer programmes for the vulnerably housed - lost out to Holland on penalties after a 3-3 draw in normal time (each game must produce a winner).
The Scottish side restored pride by beating Finland 6-2 and Namibia 6-5 however, and have two more group games to play against Switzerland and Costa Rica.
F1 racing legend Lewis Hamilton is set to turn up on Thursday to open the knock-out round action.
